Each student is assigned to an academic advisor when they begin their studies. The advisor is charged with the responsibility of overseeing the student's academic progress toward their degree and advising the student about any problems that could harm the student's ability to progress in the degree program. The advisor functions in a supportive manner and can assist in any matter pertaining to personal success, career goals, or completion of the degree program.
